Curbless and Low-Threshold Showers

A high shower curb or tub wall is one of the biggest trip hazards in the home. We build both options:

Curbless (zero-entry) showers have no step at all. We recess the floor so you can walk, or roll a wheelchair or shower chair, straight in.
Low-threshold showers use a low-profile shower base with a minimal lip. They’re a good fit when a fully curbless floor isn’t practical or isn’t needed.

Both can include built-in seating, handheld showerheads on slide bars, and recessed niches placed within easy reach.

Walk-In Tubs

If you’d rather sit and soak than stand in a shower, a walk-in tub offers a watertight door, a built-in seat, and a low step-in height. You get the comfort of a bath without climbing over a tub wall.

Comfort-Height Toilets and Vanities

Comfort-height toilets are easier to sit on and stand up from. We can also install vanities with open space underneath for seated or wheelchair use, lower or tilted mirrors, and faucets and storage placed where they’re easy to reach.

Wider Doorways

Standard bathroom doors are often too narrow for a walker or wheelchair. We can widen the doorway and reframe the opening so moving in and out of the bathroom is no longer a struggle.

Grab Bars Anchored in Real Blocking

A grab bar is only as strong as what it’s attached to. The bars are anchored into structure, not just drywall or a plastic surround.

Slip-Resistant Flooring and Low-Profile Shower Pans

We use slip-resistant shower bases and waterproof luxury vinyl plank (LVP) flooring. LVP is softer and warmer underfoot than tile and has no grout lines. Low-profile shower pans keep the transition from the floor into the shower smooth.

Walk-In Tub or Walk-In Shower: Which Is Right for You?

We install both, so we’ll recommend whichever fits your needs rather than whichever we happen to sell.

A walk-in shower is usually the better choice if you use a walker or wheelchair, need a caregiver’s help, or want the fastest and easiest daily routine. Curbless showers offer the most open access.
A walk-in tub may be the better choice if you enjoy soaking, prefer to bathe seated, or find warm water helpful for joint or muscle pain. Keep in mind that you have to wait for the tub to fill and drain while seated inside.

Personalized Design and Product Selection

We bring samples to your home so you can see and feel the options in your own space. Together we choose the shower or tub, wall system, flooring, toilet, vanity, grab bars, seating, and fixtures, with Good, Better, and Best options for each.

We demo down to the studs, fix any hidden problems such as leaks, mold, or damaged subfloor, and then rebuild. Our shower walls are solid surface grout-free systems, which are waterproof and easy to keep clean.
